A right ambience at work fosters motivation and efficiency in the employee, reduces sick leaves and generally increases the well-being. It is great to work in a pleasant environment! With optimum daylight regulation, automationNEXT enables considerable power savings, Venetian blinds that can be adjusted according to the sunlight, optimize the room climate.
The office world today is a world of change – offices and room concepts are adapted to employees and project groups and also to changed processes as needed. Tailor-made visualizations and flexible control systems simplify the optimum use of space. Even minor changes, like in the configuration, often show big effects.
Multimedia conference rooms can be easily integrated in automationNEXT solutions. With the help of a large number of interfaces, audio and video equipment are easy to incorporate.
Seven-storey office building, Katowice/Poland
The use of latest infrastructure possibilities characterize this project: we had to create a working world where well-being was the first priority. Lights and blinds were fully automated, however users were still given the option for manual control.
During the planning, a touch module for controlling the brightness (lighting and blinds) was provided at each writing desk, which with the conventional wiring would have implied huge extra expenditure. In addition, contemporary office use had to be considered, where constant adjustments were necessary for the flexible office design. This was only possible with the use of wireless touch buttons (EnOcean radio engineering).
The functions for the blinds control in NEXTengine are supplied with current data from four weather stations. The wind alarm module ensures that the blinds are closed when there is too much wind and thus protect against damage. With the NEXTtouch visualization, the maintenance staff can switch on and off lights during patrol time.
