With solutions from automationNEXT, opportunities in building automation in industrial plants can be optimized. Controlled windows enable power-saving and environment-friendly cooling even of large halls. Thanks to automatic fault monitoring, maintenance intervals can be planned optimum. The operating hours counter displays early enough the end of the life of lamps.
The integration of external structures, e.g. roller shutters, is uncomplicated – and with the integration of all structures in a single system, additional programs or control systems of other providers can be dispensed with. This reduces time, cost and effort and provides an overview of the complete system. For in-house technicians this means initiation only in a single, easy-to-learn system.

The project objective here was the automation of total 12 industrial halls as well as an office complex with 16 office units. The innovative software approach, “configure instead of program” by automationNEXT was one of the most important reasons for deciding on the NEXTengine. The configuration of a sample office was the basis for the other 14 office units. In this way, total 16 offices could be realized by copying with minimum effort. By linking the various “logic modules”, individual requirements could be implemented quickly without changing the total system. Complex flows will be presented in the configuration software NEXTmanager in a simplified manner.
The NEXTmanager simplifies the presentation of complex flows with easy-to-understand graphics. In this way we could save enormous costs in commissioning the building automation by saving time. During operation, the NEXTdatabase simplifies troubleshooting and supports the maintenance of all automated flows in the building.
The Schletter Project is a highly efficient complete solution, the focus of which is lighting control, multimedia conference room, rolling shutters and the central closing system. For the future, the Ethernet-based system enables easy networking with other standards. The power balance could be greatly improved with the automatic overnight ventilation module. With temperature-dependent opening and closing of the window, an air-conditioning system could be entirely dispensed with.
“The configuration software is easy to learn, because it can be used intuitively. The automationNEXT solution has major advantages in the handling, the software is simpler, clearer and hence requirements can be implemented more easily, efficiently and quickly - even in large projects. I reckon that we finished with the automationNEXT solution in half the stipulated time. The annex building already started will therefore be operated with software from automationNEXT.” Michael Moser, Schletter Germany
