Fast, uncomplicated configuration enables individual tailoring to the various needs of the inhabitant, and also to various situations. The graphical and thus easy to understand visualization enormously simplifies operability by the end user.
Additional comfort allows for integration of wireless handheld systems and the user can thus work with his usual control. Remote control via Internet is obvious, for example, the sauna can be preheated before you leave the office.
The automatic fault monitoring feature of the system ensures safety.
Private Villa in Los Angeles/USA
The integration of many different systems in one system and a fully integrated multimedia setup characterize this project, which was implemented with NEXTengine. The room temperature, the lighting, the entertainment electronics and the pool were controlled in the outdoors area. The already existing alarm system and the external visualization could likewise be integrated with the help of the open standardized interfaces of NEXTengine. In addition to visualization in housing, the NEXTlive software installed on a mobile telephone (iPhone) was used.
Building owners appreciate the feature of creating preset multimedia moods by pushing a button or starting operations. Dim lights, open or close blinds, change room temperature, play music and activate different light moods in the pool area. The desired scenarios could be adapted to the building owner’s requirements.
The Ethernet-based system enables easy networking with other standards, whereby the flexibility of integrating other installations with open standards remains.
